Confession: I let my Nevomon starve to death
Poignant testimony from a repentant user. How I neglected my creature and what I learned.
Testimonial
*The following is a real-life testimonial from a NevoMove user who wishes to remain anonymous. Names have been changed to protect the Nevomons concerned.
It all started innocently enough
At first, everything was fine. I fed Blopy every day. I validated my steps. We were a team.
And then... life. Work. Outings. I started to forget. "Tomorrow," I told myself.
The descent into hell
Day 1: "He's still got 80%atiete, ca va."
Day 3: "50% is okay."
Day 5: "30%... I'm feeding tonight."
Day 7: Notification. "Your Nevomon is hungry."
I ignored the notification.
The point of no return
Day 10. I open the app. A mystical portal. Blue lights. And Blopy... gone.
I stare at the screen for 5 minutes. My Nevomon level 34. My exclusive skins. My 4-month-old companion.
Dead.
Resurrection
Fortunately, update 1.1.1 allows resurrection. 50 gems later, Blopy was back. Weakened, but alive.
What I learned
- Notifications exist for a reason - Turn them on.
- Routine saves lives (from Nevomons) - Feed at a set time.
- Emergency gems - Always keep some for emergencies.
- Guilt is real - Yes, for a virtual creature. And that's OK.
Message to the community
If you're reading this, go feed your Nevomon. Now. Don't make the same mistake I did.
